Blessing earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University and obtained her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Texas At San Antonio. During her time at UTSA, she dedicated time to serving at a non-profit organization that houses teen mothers previously in the foster care system and volunteered at a bereavement center. While serving multiple populations, an eclectic approach is often used to meet the need of each client. Though she operates from a person-centered approach, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy and expressive arts therapy are familiar modalities to her. In addition, she has co-facilitated groups that focused on expressive arts, play therapy and provided parenting classes to low-income populations. In therapy, I believe it is important to empower you to make your own decisions and to walk beside you through the challenges and triumphs of life.

Blessing in her spare time enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to podcasts, listening to music, reading, attending church, volunteering in her local community and traveling. In addition, she enjoys hiking, visiting botanical gardens, parks, and art museums.

“There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.”
