Berkeley Church: MA, LPC-Associate

Berkeley

Berkeley earned her Bachelor of Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013. She has recently graduated from the University of the Cumberlands to be a Licensed Professional Counselor. Throughout her undergrad studies, Berkeley thought she would work in education; although she has pivoted to mental health, Berkeley still has a passion for lifetime learning. Before starting her graduate career, Berkeley worked in a mental health crisis center as a qualified mental health professional. Berkeley spent a lot of time leading psycho-educational groups and caring for people in their critical time of need. Through her time working in short term inpatient care, Berkeley learned about the body-mind connection to mental health.
Supported through years of experience of working with many clients of varied backgrounds, Berkeley firmly believes that each person deserves to be met where they are and to be give a safe space to share their needs. The strongest client/counselor relationships lead to working together to help the client find peace, resolution, and a clear path forward.

When Berkeley is not working, she is spending time with her husband and two young children. Berkeley loves to cook with her family and watch any good scary movie. Berkeley also enjoys traveling, and this wanderlust even led to living in New England for several years. After her children were born, she decided to come back home to the Fort Worth area to be close to family.

SERVICES: Berkeley treats clients age 13 and older.
