Rebecca Spivey: M.Ed. LPC-A
Rebecca received her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of North Texas. She completed her internship in school counseling, play therapy, and adult therapy. Rebecca began her journey as an LPC-Associate in private practice, working with children, teens, adults, and couples. She paused her counseling work for a season to raise her children and homeschool. Now that her two youngest are in high school, she has chosen to return to counseling to complete her hours as an LPC-Associate.
Rebecca has been married to her husband for 18 years. She is a mom and stepmom to four children ranging in age from 14 to 30, as well as a dog mom to a husky and shepherd mix. In her free time, she supports her teenagers in their athletics, enjoys traveling, loves a good coffee shop, bible studies with friends and appreciates walks and hikes. She also enjoys gardening and yard work, and finds calm in working on large puzzles.
Having raised teenagers for 17 consecutive years, navigating her own mid-life journey, and supporting her aging parents, Rebecca has developed a deep commitment to helping individuals at every stage of life. She is passionate about counseling youth/teens, processing mid-life transitions, and navigating the significant life choices and stages of life that face us whether we are 8 or 80.
