Paul Johnson: MA, LPC-Associate

Paul holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University, as well as a Master’s in Christian Leadership from Criswell College. Bringing over two decades of experience in organizational leadership and community service, Paul offers a grounded, compassionate, and deeply empathetic approach to therapy.
He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates evidence-based therapeutic frameworks including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and attachment-based modalities, tailored to each individual’s unique journey. Paul believes that every client is the true expert of their own life. By creating a warm, authentic, and non-judgmental environment, he collaborates with clients to cultivate self-awareness, personal agency, and lasting emotional healing.

Outside of Hope and Growth, Paul likes to read, travel, and spend time with his family and dog. Paul is an avid journaler and has never met a coffee shop he does not like. Overall, Paul has a genuine passion for people.
