Paul Johnson - MA, LPC-Associate
Paul is a graduate school student working on his Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Colorado Christian University. Paul received his Master’s in Christian Leadership from Criswell College in 2009 and has experience working with nonprofits, church ministry, and has worked for over 20 years in the homebuilding industry. Paul has a passion, no matter where he is planted, to bring hope to those who are hurting and value to those who have forgotten their worth.
Out of Paul’s own personal and spiritual wrestling's to achieve wellness in mind, body, and soul he felt a clear vision to dedicate his life to help others achieve the same. Paul sees the client as the expert of their own life. He believes self-awareness and personal agency creates the capacity for growth. Paul sees how trust, respect, and authenticity of the therapeutic relationship lays the groundwork for insight and change.
Outside of Hope and Growth, Paul likes to read, travel, and spend time with his family and dog. Paul is an avid journaler and has never met a coffee shop he does not like. Overall, Paul has a genuine passion for people.
